Communicating with the customer

No matter how much you want the local language to flourish, English as a communication will have to stay as it has been considered a universal language spoken in more than 80 countries. (Thanks to the British who were once ruling half of the world).

This applies to all businesses and the retail business is crucial for the growth of the country.

Have a quick glance at the below chit chat with a 7/11 employee and a foreigner at Kelana Park View area. (Fr : stands for tourist and 7/11 stands for the employee of the store).

fr : Do you have any pain killer tablets?
7/11 : apa?

fr : Do you have any pain killer tablets?
7/11 : Sorry tatau (which means I don't know)?

fr : Do you have Crocin?
7/11 : Yes., have many flavor (and she points to the Ice Cream cooler)

I had to intervene and tell her to give him Panadol. !!

Well, One thing is for sure, How does 7/11 group hire employees?
